This page is about El Limón Cebichería on Avenida del Aire, in Santa Catalina, in the district of La Victoria, and not a namesake in another neighbourhood. On its official page, the restaurant presents itself as a cebichería with more than thirty years of tradition; it publishes neither its address nor its opening hours on that page, which we cross-checked in a restaurant directory.

What the menu offers

The only menu linked from the official page dates from 2022. It shows the families of dishes, not today’s prices:

• Ceviches: fish, mixed, fish with conchas negras (black clams), in an individual portion, a medium dish or a large dish.
• Tiraditos and cold starters: causas, leche de tigre, octopus in olive sauce.
• Chicharrones and jaleas: fried fish, squid and seafood, to share.
• Rice dishes: arroz con mariscos, seafood chaufa.
• Soups: chilcano, fish chupe, parihuela.

These dishes may have changed since 2022: ask for the menu of the day. With the medium and large dishes, a table of several people can taste several preparations. Prices can be seen on site; according to our information, they remain moderate.

The neighbourhood

Santa Catalina is a residential area in the south-east of La Victoria, towards San Borja, and Avenida del Aire is a neighbourhood avenue: you come here for the meal, by booked taxi, at lunchtime. Eating raw fish

Raw fish is never risk-free: lime changes its texture without making it safe, and neither freshness nor the time of the meal guarantees it. The chicharrones, rice dishes and soups on the menu are cooked dishes. See eating out.

A fish lunch in a neighbourhood cebichería, away from the tourist circuits: a ceviche, a chicharrón or a seafood rice, to share between several people.
