In short

• This site uses no advertising trackers, no audience measurement tools and no cookies.
• The fonts, photos, base map and scripts are served by the site itself: displaying a page does not pass your visit on to a third-party service. We checked this on the built version of the site on 2 October 2026 (no resource loaded from another domain).
• Like any web server, our host’s server keeps technical logs.
• Your favourites and your calculations stay in your browser.
• The request form sends your message to our server, which passes it on to us by email; nothing else is kept.
• The WhatsApp button is a simple link: nothing is passed on unless you write to us.

Data controller

The data controller is Zandona Swiss Lima Property, a sole proprietorship (owner: Martin Zandona), Rue de Bernex 285, 1233 Bernex, Switzerland. For any question about your data, or to ask for access, correction or deletion: hola@swisslima.ch.

What the server sees

The site is hosted in Switzerland by Infomaniak Network SA, in Geneva. When you open a page, the server receives, as with any website, your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and technical information sent by your browser (type of browser, referring page). These logs are used for the operation and security of the server. We do not use them to measure audiences or to identify you. How long they are kept is set by the host, according to its privacy policy.

What stays in your browser

Four features save information in your browser’s local storage (localStorage), only when you use them, with no account and nothing sent:

How long. This information has no expiry date: it stays on your device until you delete it with the buttons above, or by deleting the site’s data in your browser settings. It is not synchronised between your devices and may disappear if you clear your browsing data, use a private window or if your browser tidies up. If your browser blocks this storage, these features say so and the rest of the site works normally.

What we do with it. Nothing: the site only reads this information to show it to you again, on your device. It is never sent to our server or to a third party, and is used neither to measure audiences, nor to track your browsing, nor for advertising. The site search downloads an index from swisslima.ch, without passing on what you type.

Why there is no banner. The Federal Commissioner’s (FDPIC) guide on cookies and similar technologies examines each technique according to its purpose, case by case, and describes as “essential” the cookies and technologies that serve a feature requested by the visitor. That is our reading for these four features: each one is only activated if you use it, and serves only itself. We therefore do not display a consent banner; this analysis is our own, it has not been validated by a lawyer, and it would be reviewed if a measurement feature or a third-party service were added.

The request form

The Write to SwissLima page sends your request to our server, hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland, which passes it on to us by email at hola@swisslima.ch. The server does not keep your request: it relays it, then keeps for one hour an anonymous fingerprint of your IP address (neither the address nor the message), solely to limit automated submissions. If sending fails, the message stays on screen: you can copy it or send it to us on WhatsApp.

We ask for the minimum: a first name, a way to reply to you and what you need. The rest is optional. We ask for no passport, no medical information and no bank details.

By WhatsApp. The green button at the bottom right of the screen opens WhatsApp with a ready-made message, which you can edit or not send. If you write to us, your number and your messages go through WhatsApp (Meta), under its own rules, and we treat them like an email (see below).

What we do with your message

• Purpose: to reply to you and, if you wish, to prepare an introduction to a professional.
• Recipients: Martin and Adriana. Your message is only passed on to a professional with your explicit consent, professional by professional, and only what is useful to them.
• How long: we keep our exchanges until you ask us to delete them. On simple request to the same address, we delete them, except for anything the law would oblige us to keep.

Your rights

Under Swiss data protection law, you can ask what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Write to hola@swisslima.ch. For any general question about your rights, the website of the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (in French) sets them out.
